Description

The 24-hour Online Training Course for Safety Trainers is qualifying pursuant to the Interministerial Decree of 6 March 2013 (Criteria for the qualification of safety trainers), to become a Safety at Work Trainer.

The course is provided pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 81/2008 and subsequent amendments to Legislative Decree no. 106/2009, of the State-Regions Agreement of 21.12.2011 and of the Interministerial Decree of 6 March 2013 and the objective is to provide the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to design and provide training courses on health and safety at work, in different production and relational contexts.

Becoming a Safety Trainer means operating in a context aimed at increasing the culture of prevention of accidents and occupational diseases in different and multiple work sectors.

Course recipients:

Graduates/Graduates: External consultants (freelance professionals), Employers, Managers, Supervisors, Prevention and protection service managers, Competent doctor or other subjects identified by the legislation in force within the company workplace safety management system.

Trainer Requirements (DI 6 March 2013):

Yes consider the safety trainer-teacher who possesses the qualification to be qualified prerequisite and at least one of the criteria listed below:

Prerequisite: Secondary school diploma. (The prerequisite is not required for employers who train their workers).
1st Criterion: Previous experience as an external teacher, at least 90 hours in the last 3 years , in the thematic area covered by the teaching.
Together with criteria 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 required: attendance of the "Training Course for Trainers lasting a minimum of 24 hours" , or teaching qualification, or achievement of a three-year diploma in Communication Science or a Master's degree in Communication.
2nd Criterion: Degree (old system, three-year, specialist or master's degree) consistent with the subjects covered by the teaching, i.e. post-graduate courses (PhD, specialization, master's, specialization...) in the field of health and safety at work.
3rd Criterion: Certificate of attendance , with verification of learning, a training course(s) lasting at least 64 hours on health and safety at work together with at least 12 months of work or professional experience consistent with the thematic area covered by the teaching.
4th Criterion: Certificate of attendance, with verification of learning, a training course(s) lasting at least 40 hours on health and safety at work together with at least 18 months of work or professional experience consistent with the thematic area covered by the teaching.
5th Criterion: At least 3 years' work or professional experience in the field of health and safety , consistent with the thematic area covered by the teaching.
6th Criterion: Experience at least 6 months in the role of RSPP or at least 12 months in the role of ASPP (these figures can only teach within the relevant ATECO macro-sector).

The safety trainer is updated every 3 years.

Teaching Unit - Module A

Notions and techniques of communication. Analysis of company training needs. Educational planning: objectives and general aspects. Teaching methodologies. Effective communication. Frontal lesson. Role and requirements of trainers. Current legislation on training. Prevention and the role of training. Purpose of safety training. Organize safety training. Instructional design: micro-design. Training for those responsible for operating the equipment.


Teaching Unit - Module B

Update on health and safety at work. Legislation relating to particular categories: child labour, working mothers. UNI, CEI technical standards and their validity. Management models. Management of technical-administrative documentation. Definition of the concepts of risk and damage. Types and main risk factors. Missed injuries - near miss. Production cycle and risk detection. Measures of prevention and protection.


Teaching Unit - Module C

Risk overview: mechanical, electrical, biological, chemical and physical. Overview of risks: fire, explosion, ergonomic and related to work organization and the social sphere. Ministerial Decree 388: more frequent risks and pathologies in the workplace. Risk of exposure to dangerous substances: general provisions. Risk of exposure to dangerous substances: risk assessment and prevention and protection measures. Exposure to noise risk: general aspects. Biological agents: definitions and general aspects. Biological agents: consequences on humans and prevention and protection measures. Asbestos risk. Risk from exposure to carcinogenic and mutagenic agents. Electromagnetic risk: definition and effects on humans. Electromagnetic risk: risk assessment and prevention and protection measures. Video terminals.
